A state of joy in business is a state of being in the present moment. Being in business for yourself is a place of reliance on creating joy for yourself, your team and by extension your customers.
You can succeed through clearing the mirror of any dark stains and seeing through an opened mind, and an opened mind’s eye.
Joy also welcomes releasing any anger or fear when customer’s don’t follow your script. In salesmanship this is something close to the idea of no, means next. You get a no, you release and go onto the next. And so on.No mean yes! To a better opportunity.
My fear based business plans always involve sacrifice, technique, sorrow and suffering. A plan of love is more in tune with aligning with positive energy, thankfulness and excitement.
As far as business plans there are really only two, plans based on fear and plans based on love. Going beyond yourself is a plan of love for example. Embracing joy and unconditional happiness is another.
The techniques and tactics fall in after a plan of love. The ego wants to struggle and this is where mindset, state of mind, accepting what is, becomes an important and foundation of a successful business. For being open at the top, is what makes a plan for business, into a plan for joy.
I’ve noticed that a business plan doesn’t survive the preferences of customers and the ideas of employees. The plan doesn’t survive Day One! The plan will change and that can suck!
What happened to my plan! It was so beautiful on paper.
I don’t want it to change. That’s why any business plan is a plan for becoming who you are, for becoming awake and for becoming joy.
Being your own boss then becomes an exercise in giving meaning to everything you see. The entrepreneur gives meaning to the world they see.
If they see through the eyes of God, through the eyes of love, that will be returned in your business experience.
The ego wants results but the only result it REALLY wants is fear. Fear shows up as confusion, despair, sorrow, short term thinking, lawsuits, bankruptcy and ultimately un-fulfillment.
Plan to practice a state of joy.
